EAS 6722 - Multidisciplinary Optimization Under Uncertainty

The objective of the course is to present tools and methodologies for developing models and performing multidisciplinary optimization under uncertainty. The course focuses on:

  • Classical and heuristic optimization,
  • Optimization under uncertainty,
  • Approximations and multifidelity methods, and
  • Global sensitivity analysis

EML 4225 - Introduction to Vibrations and Controls

Spring - 2019

The objective of the course is to present tools and methodologies for vibration analysis as well as foundational concepts of feedback control. The course focuses on:

  • Free and forced vibration of mechanical systems with single and two degree(s) of freedom,
  • Stability, open/closed loop systems, block diagrams, classical control, etc.

EGN 3321 - Dynamics

Spring - 2020, 2021, 2022

The objective of the course is to present tools and methodologies for engineering analysis using dynamics. The course focuses on:

  • Kinematics and kinetics of particles and rigid bodies, and
  • Introduction to kinematics of mechanisms and 3D rigid body dynamics
